Production Update: BackerKit Surveys Coming Soon

Hello Backers!
A quick update from the production side of Mars Attacks: Atomic Twisted Tabletop.
Our BackerKit surveys are still on track to go out later this month, and we expect to have those in your hands in the next couple of weeks. That will be the next big step as we lock in final pledge details, add-ons, shipping information, and everything else needed to move toward fulfillment.
On the manufacturing side, we’ve now finalized the factory build for the game. We’re currently waiting on the final illustrations for the instruction booklet, and once those are complete, another major piece of the production puzzle will be locked.
Everything is looking great, and we’re very happy with how the game is coming together.
Most importantly, we are still on track for our delivery window, with the end of Q1 2027 remaining our target.
There’s a lot happening behind the scenes right now, and we appreciate everyone’s patience while we work through the less-visible parts of production. We’ll have more to share as we move into final artwork, manufacturing samples, and the next stages of production.
Thanks again for helping us bring this wonderfully twisted game to life.

Well... apparently the Killer Tomatoes sabotaged my last update.
The link to the Attack of the Killer Tomatoes graphic novel Kickstarter I mentioned isn't working. If you tried clicking it, thanks for your patience—and sorry about that!
Here's the correct link:

As I mentioned in the previous update, I'm one of the producers of the upcoming Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence feature film, so I'm always happy to support our friends at PANICK Entertainment as they expand the Tomato universe with this fun new graphic novel.
Thanks again for all your support—and stay tuned. Once we're through the whirlwind that is San Diego Comic-Con, I'll be back with more manufacturing updates and, hopefully, some very cool production photos to share.
Thanks everyone!

Manufacturing Update + A Killer Tomato Recommendation!

Hi Everyone!
It's been a little quiet from our end lately, so I wanted to check in and let you know what's been happening behind the scenes.
The good news is... things are moving along nicely!
We're now deep into the manufacturing process, and a lot of our focus has shifted from game design to making sure the finished product is something we're all proud of. One of the biggest projects we're tackling right now is transforming the rulebook into a full-on instruction manual that's every bit as polished as the game itself. Rather than a wall of text, we're building a guide filled with graphics, examples, and visual callouts to make learning the game fast, easy, and (hopefully) entertaining. We've continued refining the gameplay and making improvements to ensure the final experience is as fun and chaotic as we envisioned from the start.
The factory has also begun ramping up for production, and we're preparing the first test shots of several game components. This is always one of my favorite milestones because it's the point where months of digital artwork and prototypes begin turning into real, physical game pieces. We'll be evaluating materials, colors, fit, and overall quality before moving into full production.
As many of you know, San Diego Comic-Con is right around the corner, so the Atomic Toybox team is running at full speed getting everything ready. Once Comic-Con wraps up, I'll have a lot more to share—including photos from the factory, production samples, and another look at how everything is coming together.
While I've Got You...
I'd also like to give a quick shout-out to some friends of ours at PANICK Entertainment.
Many of you know I'm also one of the producers of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence, so I couldn't resist mentioning that PANICK has just launched a brand-new Attack of the Killer Tomatoes graphic novel on Kickstarter.
If giant mutant tomatoes, over-the-top sci-fi comedy, and wonderfully ridiculous adventures sound like your kind of thing (and I'm guessing many of you wouldn't be here if they didn't), I'd love for you to check it out and support another independent creator-driven project.
👉 Check out the Kickstarter here:

Independent creators succeed because fans like you continue to believe in projects that are a little weird, a little different, and made with a whole lot of passion. Whether it's Atomic Twisted Tabletop, Killer Tomatoes, or another indie project that catches your eye, your support truly makes a difference.
As always, thank you for backing Atomic Twisted Tabletop and for sticking with us on this journey. We can't wait to start showing you the production pieces and get this game into your hands.
Have a fantastic Comic-Con week, and I'll be back with another update shortly after the show!

Production Update: Full Speed Ahead!

Hello Backers!
We wanted to take a moment to check in and let everyone know where things stand.
Over the past few weeks we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes moving Mars Attacks: Atomic Twisted Tabletop from a successful Kickstarter campaign into full production planning. While things may have seemed a little quiet on the surface, a tremendous amount of work has been happening as we finalize BackerKit, organize pledge data, prepare manufacturing specifications, gather vendor quotations, and coordinate all of the moving pieces required to bring the game to life.
This stage isn’t always the most exciting to watch from the outside, but it’s one of the most important parts of the process. Getting everything organized now helps ensure a smoother production run later.
The good news is that everything is progressing as planned, and we remain on track for our projected Q1 2027 delivery window.
Over the coming months we’ll be sharing more updates on manufacturing, component upgrades, final production samples, artwork, stretch goal implementation, and other fun surprises as they come together.
Most importantly, we want to thank you for your patience and support. The success of this campaign made it possible to launch not only the first Atomic Twisted Tabletop game, but the foundation of a much larger game system that we can’t wait to share with you.
We’re incredibly excited about what comes next and look forward to bringing Martians, Power Cores, Combatants, and chaotic tabletop fun to your game tables.
More updates soon!

What to Expect Over The Next Couple of Weeks

Hi Everyone!
Now that the campaign has wrapped, I wanted to give everyone a clearer picture of what happens next and how production and fulfillment will work for Atomic Twisted Tabletop.
I know many of you may be backing a Kickstarter for the very first time, so I want to be as transparent and detailed as possible about the process moving forward.
IMPORTANT:
If you have questions, please send me a DIRECT MESSAGE through Kickstarter rather than posting in the comments section of updates. Kickstarter is not always great about notifying creators about update comments, so direct messages are the fastest and most reliable way for me to help you. I do my best to respond to all messages within 72 hours.
⸻
IMPORTANT PAYMENT NOTE
If you’re reading this during the first week after the campaign ended, please take a moment to verify that your payment successfully processed through Kickstarter.
Every campaign has a handful of payments declined by banks or credit card companies for fraud protection or authorization reasons. Kickstarter will usually give you a short period of time to resolve the issue and retry the payment.
If the payment ultimately does not go through, Kickstarter removes the pledge and you unfortunately will no longer be included in the final backer count or reward fulfillment.
So please double-check your email and Kickstarter notifications just to be safe.
⸻
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Over the next several weeks, I’ll be transitioning the project from campaign mode into full production.
That includes:
• Finalizing manufacturing quantities
• Locking in production schedules
• Reviewing component proofs and samples
• Beginning manufacturing on 3D Game pieces, acrylic pieces, cards, boards, dice, packaging, and printed materials
• Coordinating freight, warehousing, and fulfillment logistics
• Finalizing stretch goals and add-ons
Atomic Twisted Tabletop has a LOT of moving parts compared to a typical card game or small tabletop project, so there’s a substantial amount of coordination involved to make sure everything comes together properly.
The current public delivery target remains Q1 2027.
⸻
BACKERKIT SURVEYS
Once Kickstarter releases the funds and production timing is confirmed, I’ll begin sending out surveys through BackerKit.
These surveys are extremely important because they collect:
• Your shipping address
• Reward selections
• Add-ons
• Final fulfillment information
PLEASE NOTE:
Some fields in BackerKit may require a response in order to complete the survey. If a field does not apply to you, simply enter “N/A.”
IMPORTANT:
If you expect to move before fulfillment begins, please WAIT to finalize your survey until you have a stable shipping address where packages can safely be delivered.
I’ll provide reminders before addresses are officially locked.
⸻
FULFILLMENT WILL HAPPEN IN WAVES
Because of the scale of this project — and because some editions require longer manufacturing timelines than others — fulfillment will happen in multiple waves.
This is primarily due to manufacturing timing and production sequencing.
For example:
• Some standard components may finish production earlier
• Deluxe miniatures may take longer
• Acrylic editions may ship separately from core editions
• Certain stretch goal items may complete production later than others
This means some backers may receive rewards earlier than others depending on what was included in their pledge.
You may see other backers posting photos online before your package ships — and that’s completely normal.
Rather than rush incomplete shipments, I’d rather take the time to make sure everything is accurate, complete, and arrives safely.
⸻
US FULFILLMENT WILL BEGIN FIRST
Current plans are for fulfillment to begin in the United States first, followed by international regions as freight arrives and regional fulfillment centers receive inventory.
International shipping timelines can vary depending on customs, freight schedules, VAT processing, and regional carrier conditions, so I appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through global fulfillment.
⸻
LARGER TIERS & MULTIPLE PACKAGES
Some higher-tier rewards may ship in multiple packages due to weight limits, packaging protection, or manufacturing timing.
If your rewards arrive separately, those shipments may appear days or even weeks apart depending on the carrier and destination region.
I’ll communicate as clearly as possible throughout the process so everyone knows what to expect.
⸻
UPDATES DURING PRODUCTION
As production moves forward, I’ll continue sharing updates including:
• Manufacturing progress
• Packaging previews
• Behind-the-scenes production photos
I’m genuinely excited to show you how this game evolves from prototype into a finished product.
⸻
THANK YOU AGAIN
Atomic Twisted Tabletop was designed to be more than a single board game.
It’s the foundation for a modular crossover tabletop system that can continue expanding into new worlds, characters, and ridiculous matchups for years to come.
None of that happens without your support.
Thank you again for believing in the project and helping bring this twisted tabletop universe to life.
More updates soon.
